At first I was really sceptical. The Mercedes-Benz dealership told me it was not possible to have Apple carplay on my 2020 E300DE Mercedes. And aftermarket solutions of over +1000 € was the only way to get it working. Then I saw Mbito and bought the dongle. After buying and pressing unlock, the software reprogrammed my car within minutes. It unlocked Apple carplay straight away and it works! So happy with this product!

It enabled me to activate the AMG menu in the instrument cluster which shows the actual oil and gearbox temperature in the cluster as well as a lap timer. No. CarPlay activation is a one-time purchase. Once you activate it using your MBito credits, it stays in your car forever with no hidden fees.
For CarPlay, you only need the device for the initial activation (about 2 minutes). Once activated, you can unplug the MBito device. However, keeping it allows you to use real-time diagnostics and other app features.
