  • MBito is diagnostic tool that transforms your Mercedes vehicle by unlocking hidden features Mercedes keeps locked away. Simply plug our MBito OBD device into your vehicle, pair it with our MBito mobile app, and unlock your Mercedes full potential — from AMG menu activation to Apple CarPlay and beyond.

  • Yes, MBito only enables hidden features or activates functions already available in your car without changing any security or safety systems. Our goal is to help you customize your car to better fit your needs. All applied codings with the MBito device can always be reverted to their original state.

    MBito assumes no responsibility for any damage, injury, or legal consequences arising from improper use, unauthorized modifications, or failure to comply with these instructions. Use these codings at your own risk.

  • If a Mercedes dealer updates your vehicle's module software, any features we've activated might reset to factory defaults. Simply use our MBito tool again to re-enable your preferred customizations. We make it easy to maintain your personalized Mercedes experience.

  • Our MBito solution does not support mileage modification or odometer adjustments. We focus exclusively on legal Mercedes customizations and feature activations that enhance your driving experience.

Vehicle Compatibility

  • MBito works with Mercedes vehicles from approximately 2003 and newer. Using our MBito OBD2 device, you can diagnose and unlock hidden features for your Mercedes. Available features for your model are listed on our page mbito.app/fitting-models

  • Our MBito Mercedes coding tool works seamlessly with Mercedes vehicles from the EU, UK, USA markets, as well as imported Japanese models. We've designed our device to support Mercedes vehicles regardless of their market origin.

  • Visit our Fitting Models page on our website to check compatibility. Simply select your vehicle using the model code (for example, A-Class W177 or E-Class W213). Our compatibility database is regularly updated as we add support for new models and features. Features are unlocked by VIN number and must be purchased separately for each vehicle.

Mobile App & Software​​

  • Our MBito device requires the official MBito mobile app, available free on:
     

    • Google Play Store (Android)

    • Apple App Store (iOS)
       

    After downloading, register your account, connect our MBito device to your Mercedes, and start unlocking hidden features immediately.

  • No, the MBito app only works with our official MBito OBD2 device that you can get from our website. It won't work with other brand OBD2 dongles - it's specifically designed to pair with our device only.

  • To connect your vehicle to the MBito mobile app, just follow these steps:
     

    • Download our MBito app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

    • Register an account in the MBito app using your email address.

    • Insert our MBito device into your Mercedes' OBD-II port (typically under the dashboard).

    • Turn your ignition to ON position (engine off).

    • Enable Bluetooth on your device (Android users: enable location services).

    • Select "Scan for device" in our app.

    • Connect to your MBito device when detected.
       

    That’s it! You’re ready to scan, customize, and unlock features on your Mercedes with MBito.

Device Usage & Features

  • Yes, you can use the same MBito device on multiple Mercedes vehicles! However, you'll need to purchase feature unlocks separately for each vehicle’s since the available functions vary depending on your specific model and what control units it has.

  • No, our MBito device only needs to be connected during active diagnostics or feature activation. Once we've coded your desired features, you can remove the device – all customizations remain saved in your Mercedes.

    We do have some exceptions, though. For the Stroboscope / Knight Rider feature, the device must be plugged in to use it.

  • The use of the MBito device does not affect your vehicle’s warranty.

  • The Stroboscope/Knight Rider lighting effect requires real-time communication with your Mercedes systems. This feature actively controls your headlights in real-time, which is only possible through our MBito device's continuous connection. For safety, we recommend not using this feature while driving.

  • Here's how to test if your anti-theft system is working properly:

    Without Motion Sensors:

    1. Activate Anti-Theft Protection in the MBito app.

    2. Lock the vehicle and keep it locked for 30-60 minutes.

    3. Keep the car key far away from the vehicle.

    4. After the waiting period, try opening the doors or trunk. If the system is in operation, the alarm should sound.
       

    With motion sensor:

    1. Activate Anti-Theft Protection in the MBito app.

    2. Lock the vehicle and keep it locked for 30-60 minutes.

    3. Leave one window slightly open.

    4. After waiting, insert your hand through the open window and hold it inside for at least 10 seconds.
       

    If the alarm doesn't sound during the motion sensor test, your vehicle most likely doesn't have an interior motion sensor installed. That's totally normal - not all models come with them.

  • Tire Pressure BAR Units:

    Not all Mercedes instrument clusters support BAR display format – this depends on your specific model and firmware version.
     

    Screen Type Options:

    Some Mercedes models only have one screen configuration built-in, so there's nothing for us to activate.
     

    Apple CarPlay/Android Auto:

    These features require specific hardware (compatible NTG versions). Some older Mercedes head units lack the necessary components. Contact our team at ask@mbito.app to verify if we can unlock this feature for your specific Mercedes.

  • There are two Start/Stop options in the MBito app because Mercedes gives you different ways to control how this system works:
     

    • Start/Stop system-off option lets you choose whether the system always starts as "on" or "off" every time you start your car - basically setting a default behavior.

    • Start/Stop memory function remembers whatever you did last. So if you turned it off during your last drive, it'll stay off when you start up again instead of going back to the default setting.
       

    Choose the option that best suits your driving style — permanent consistency or adaptive memory for the ultimate personalized Mercedes experience.

  • This feature we provide restarts your Mercedes ECU, similar to restarting a computer. It clears temporary faults and resets adaptive values.

  • If the MBito app can't clear certain fault codes, it means there's still an active problem in your Mercedes that needs to be physically fixed. The codes will keep coming back until you actually resolve the underlying issue. You can look up specific codes online to get more details about what they mean and what might need repair.

  • Demo mode in the MBito app lets you explore and get hands-on practice with all the features without needing to connect to a real car or MBito device. You can pick a car model and simulate activating functions, read through simulated car modules (ECUs), check out stored errors, and even practice clearing these fake errors - it's all just for learning how everything works.
     

    A few things to keep in mind:

    • Demo mode is purely for practice - nothing actually happens to any real vehicle

    • Not every feature might be available in demo mode

    • Some functions will require purchases when you're using the actual MBito device on your car
       

    When you're ready to do real diagnostics, coding, or activate features on your Mercedes, you'll need to connect the MBito device to your vehicle.

  • We make tracking easy:

  • If your payment is declined:

  • We typically ship orders within 1-2 business days. Delivery options we offer:
     

    • Standard Shipping: 7-30 business days

    • DPD Shipping: 4-6 business days

    • Express Shipping: 1-3 business days

  • First check with your local carrier. If unresolved, fill out our claim or contact ask@mbito.app with your order details.

    • EU Deliveries: We've prepaid all duties – no extra charges!

    • Non-EU Deliveries: Recipients are responsible for local customs fees

    • Special Advisory for United States Customers Effective August 29, 2025, the De Minimis threshold (duty-free imports under $800) will be eliminated. All packages shipped from Lithuania through Deutsche Post, FedEx, or DHL will be subject to a 15% import tariff calculated on the complete order value.

  • We accept returns within 14 days of delivery. Fill out our return form or email ask@mbito.app. We'll process your refund once we receive and inspect the returned item.

  • We ship our MBito products worldwide, except to: Russia, Belarus, North Korea, Iran, Syria, and Cuba.

Account Management

  • Having trouble logging into your MBito app? Here are some quick things to try:
     

    • Double-check that you're using the right email and password - it's easy to mistype!

    • Forgot your password? No worries - just tap "Forgot Password" in the app to reset it

    • Make sure you're running the latest version of the app

    • Check that you have a good internet connection and Bluetooth turned on (especially if you're trying to connect your MBito device)

  • No, our website and app accounts are separate. You'll need to create individual accounts for each platform.

  • Creating a new MBito account is easy! Here's how:
     

    • Download the MBito app from the App Store or Google Play Store

    • Open the app on your phone

    • Enter your email address and tap Continue, then fill out the info in the next screen, accept the terms, and hit Register
       

    That's it! If you run into any issues during sign-up, just reach out to our support team at ask@mbito.app - they're happy to help.

  • To change your password in the MBito app:
     

    • Open the app and go to the login screen

    • Enter your email address and tap Continue

    • Tap "Forgot password?"

    • Enter your email address again and check your inbox for reset instructions
       

    Follow the steps in the email to create your new password. If you need any help with the reset process, just contact our support team at ask@mbito.app - they'll get you sorted out!

  • To update your account email, contact our support team at ask@mbito.app with your current and new email addresses.

  • In our MBito app: Settings → "Delete my account"
     

    Accidentally deleted? Contact ask@mbito.app for recovery assistance.

  • Yes, your account information with MBito is secure. We use strong security measures and organizational safeguards to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. All communication involving your personal information is encrypted to keep it safe.​

  • You can only update your account information through the MBito website. Just log in to your account on our website, head to "My account," and you'll be able to change whatever info you need to update there.

Technical Issues & Support

  • Check our Fitting Models page for compatibility. If supported but having issues, contact ask@mbito.app with your Mercedes details.

  • Ensure:
     

    1. Ignition ON, engine OFF

    2. Stable internet connection

    3. Device properly inserted

    4. Try restarting app and phone
       

    Persistent errors? Contact ask@mbito.app with details.

  • MBito will let you know right in the app once the coding is done successfully. When you see that success message, it means the changes have been properly written to your car's control unit and the app has confirmed everything went through correctly.

    1. Turn your ignition to ON (but don't start the engine)

    2. Plug the device into your OBD2 port

    3. Make sure Bluetooth is on (and location services if you're on Android)

    4. Tap "Scan for device" in the app

    5. If it's not connecting, try unplugging and plugging the device back in

    6. Still having trouble? Restart your phone and the app

  • Simply set any feature to "Disabled" in our app to restore factory settings. Need help? Our team at ask@mbito.app is ready to assist.

Pricing 

  • Each feature we activate requires different levels of coding complexity. Basic modifications might be free or require minimal credits, while advanced features like CarPlay activation or comprehensive AMG menu unlocking require more sophisticated coding expertise.

  • No subscription required! Our MBito solution operates on a pay-per-feature basis. The app itself is free to download and works exclusively with our original MBito device. You only pay for the specific Mercedes features you want to unlock.

  • You can buy credits directly from the MBito mobile app by tapping the credits icon at the top right corner. Various credit packages will appear — simply choose the amount you need and proceed to checkout. MBito accepts multiple payment methods, including card, PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. After payment, your credits will automatically appear in your account.
